June 12th day of the tiger and more
Pretty exciting day on both boats. Mike and Will fished with Flat Out and took a little trip to Wally World and wow was it game on. Started the day with a release of 250+ pound tiger shark on 30 pound braid and lots of patience and sweat. It was Flat Out first tiger shark completed capture. While Will was battling the tiger Mike hooked a nice gaffer on fly but ended up pulling the hook. After the tiger release --there where many 70 to 90 pound blacktips eating squid and flies. The blackies really loved the red surfboard poppers. Mike then landed a nice cobia on fly which was promptly released. Will had a nice bailer on bait. Sometime around noon will released a 45 pound cobia which stayed under our boat for an hour. The rest of the day was big blacktips and the last hour was 60 pound spinners on fly and bait. They hung around until another jumbo tiger showed up. I think we hooked and fought this tiger three different times --including once on fly. Thankfully the tiger bit us off. All an all a pretty slow day
Sarah had great fishing as well on both of her trips --lots of big blacktips to strain our anglers arms and our tackle.

You're really having a great trip Mike! WTG!
