Got a late start on a 2-hour in the water trip today in the Nottoway. Worth it. Started slow...fishing at the "hook" with no bites. A conventional boat near me caught 2 there. Moved up to the area by the standing tree in the river and that was the spot. Decent action for a while. Some fish were good sized and they put up a good fight! Nice jumps!. No other boat in sight! Swamp all around. Eagle overhead. No complaints. Water was 8 to 10 feet deep so the T14 did it. Chartreuse and pink fly.
