Swung for the fences on the Eastide for Jill Toler's birthday celebration and Jan Willis's first trip in the salt after spending over two months getting her husband over some heart surgery, and knocked a few foul balls into the second tier seats before slamming some outta the park in dead center!



We got "weathered out" and headed back across the shoals to a few spots inside and played "small ball" with specks & blues on little sticks before we racked the 4/5/6wts and called it a long half day.



Happy birthday Jill, welcome back Jan, and thanks for all y'all do to keep the Cape Lookout Fly Fishers from having more wind knots than great casts!

Good stuff!!
We tried to hit Atlas tues, hopefully find some willing reef donkeys. Turned snotty out there quick, should've hit the slot and made a left but oh well.
Ride there was sporty and the ride back in after turning at the knuckle was not fun!!

I think I was up jetty from you on Monday.
Carolina blue Regulator 24,... I know perfect jetty boat.
Had a good mixed bag on a sinking line; trout, jacks, black sea bass, pinfish, preacher's ____, and those yellow eyed smelly ones!!!
