Couldn't get out where we wanted to go, so Dr Ken Eiler and I made do with scattered Spanish and small blues til these showed up



finning in 2/3 feet of water and willing to eat poppers tossed to em with gusto! 8/12lb class of fish that would clear the water like a bass multiple times. To say it was great fun on 6/7wt flyrods would be the understatement of the year!
