Fallen in love...

... with a weedless deer hair frog. Please don't tell my wife! Pitching in the thick stuff on a cool Saturday afternoon - Lake Tomalex in the Yak - me, the fish, and a circling Bald Eagle; and not another soul in sight. I'm so glad the guys in those 30K bass boats don't pitch this kind of stuff... seams they keep leaving all the big fish for me 
Oiled up the salt water stuff today though; I think I'll be down early this year since things seem to be turning off cooler earlier. Hopefully Mr. Spaniard won't have left and the Albies have started chomping flies bigger than a slimy booger 
Hope to find myself in that South facing slice of heaven on the first new moon in October.
