June 8th fishing report

Postby bhorsley » Tue Jun 09, 2015 5:32 am

after several days of wind and big seas --things began to straighten out --for at least a day. This am it is blowing 25 southwest and showers popping up

June 8th report

Fished with Mike and Will and went looking in the back country. The first time i had fished in the back all year. Trout fishing from the reports we have been getting has been extremely slow. Hopefully fishing will improve as the water temps reach the normal 74+ summer temps. Was just starting to fish an area looking for reds--when i got a call and had to steam 14 miles. Made it in the nick of time before the tide switched and shut things down. We hooked and caught 3 reds before the tide stopped --nice fish as well --my favorite kind--all over the slot--catch and release only
