Striper Saturday, 11/2
It has been awhile since I have posted a report here. We were supposed to be at Harkers this weekend, but the weather man had other plans for us this year. So plan B was initiated. Stafford and I started out at the crack of dawn and found birds, lots of them, on Windmill Bar. Had I not known where I was, I could have mistaken the birds for Harkers. The schoolies were gorging on silversides and jumping out of the water for them. After chasing them around for awhile, we fished various rock piles. All of them held nicer fish and we caught them up to 25". Two fish, one hooked by me and the other by Stafford, could not be stopped eventually breaking us off on the rocks. When that action slowed we went back to the birds and schoolies. Big numbers on a beautiful day.

T,
Looks like all our stripers have wandered down your way. Have fun while you have 'em. Sorry you got blown out on Harkers.
