Eastern Shore no drum but striper report!
Have not been able to fish much (any) in last few weeks due to family issues. Finally had a short window today....drove to the shore to fish for 2.5 hours. Looked for big reds and found none. Found some schools of stripers on the flats...very picky. First few flies were refused. Finally got some to bit on a big deceiver. Very cool as it was sight fishing the fish were in 2 to 4 feet of water. Easy to see them. Largest was 41-inches measured! Did not see anyone else catch anything.

Tom, call me if you have a weekday off (not likely) and the wind is calm.

Well done KO. Sounds like a good ninja mission.
The world is your oyster-
So show up with a knife and know how to shuck.

Thanks for the offer, Kendall. I wish, but it looks like the next weekday off is going to happen in June. I will have to experience it vicariously.
