We are looking forward to another great fishing year in southwest MT. With the reservoir at 90% and with spring runoff yet to come, the Beaverhead will be its usual self, full of big fish and a lot of them. The snowpack is above 95% with a few more storms to come. This will give the Big Hole plenty of water for the season. With these great water conditions, it will make for happy fish and very satisfied fly fishers!!!
The Big Hole, Jefferson, and Beaverhead, along with the Ruby and Madison rivers, means you could fish for thirty days straight and never fish the same water twice. In our 26 years of operation at Five Rivers Lodge, whether it is a high water year or a low water year, at least one or two of our rivers have always been fishing good.
