Sept. 3rd Cape Lookout report
stupid albie fishing today about 10 to 12 miles off the beach. Slick cam it was and everybody was on top. Little wind on Saturday will keep us from getting that far off the beach. First day of Cape Lookout Fall adventure was a blast.

Re: Sept. 3rd Cape Lookout report
Good Deal Brian. from what I see up here it could be an "early and often" year.
Never seen so many southbound V shape geese formations this early and the branches (young) of my oaks are breaking because of the amount of acorns.
Indicative of a winter ass-ache here in the NE.
Trout fishing fresh water been spectacular.
Looking forward to thd proverbial 90 minute NC hour and shrimp n grits.
See you in 13 days.

OH, forgot, case you missed it: TOM BRADY IS A FREE MAN!!!
And he's pissed. Not a GOOD THING for the opposition.
Just thought I would toss that out there.........in case you're a Goodell believer.

Joe,
We have a bumper crop of acorns ourselves. It is tough to sleep as they drop on the deck and hit the roof.
I'll be down Sept 12....for a few days...

Em,
Actually thinking of hiring out my 2015 vintage acorn crop. Mowed the lawn today and in the back by the Oaks it was like walking on marbles.
Sneak a peak out there at 3 am with bright moon and the deer are trying but so many oaks so may acorns not enough bullets. Maybe should hire Sarah , she could shoot from the deck 18 feet up.
Anyway looking forward to this fall. Shooting for 5 full weeks. Was down for Memorial day week and mister the AJ's and Cobia were suicidal. Planned for August but the powers that be said contract contract contract so had to wait til September.
The new owner from T&T might come with me first week of November for the Albie celebration. (No Rain please) Neville's clock is wound a bit tight but he's breathed a whole bunch of life back into an iconic brand. This 67 year old's shoulder and arm love their latest rods, especially the S/W Solar series.
Man, some of the rods the builders are putting together today are scaring me, but then again we're "Old Timers". Subject for another day.
Looking forward to catching up.
